As you will be aware of the severe financial pressures on all Sports Clubs which significantly inhibit our own Club’s ability to improve the Club’s fabric and most importantly the facilities we offer. To boost the Club’s resources we are launching a new initiative with the potential to raise much needed funds for the Club and by which all members will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution at no cost to themselves.

The Club is now an activated member of the organisation ‘Easyfundraising’ by which any Club member who has enlisted and nominated East Lancashire Club as their ‘worthy cause’ has the ability to raise funds for the Club simply by making on-line purchases via the ‘Easyfundraising’ site with little effort and at no cost to themselves. This process has raised over £26 million for ‘worthy causes’ since its inception in 2005 and has enormous potential to ensure our Club’s survival as an attractive sports facility and venue for party bookings.

The success of this project will obviously be determined by the level of support from our members and with 3,300 retailers registered* there is a huge opportunity for all members to effortlessly raise important funds for the Club when making purchases on-line.

How to go about Enrolling with Easyfundraising:
Go to easyfundraising.org.uk - sign up and select your worthy cause – East Lancashire Club.
How it works
When making a purchase on-line as an enrolled member e.g. at M & S –
1. Login to Easyfundraising
2. In the box ‘search for a retailer’ enter M&S
3. Click on the link ‘go shopping at M&S’, and you will be taken to the M&S website
4. M&S will donate to our club a % of all purchases you make during that visit, it really is that simple.
*Amazon, Debenhams, M&S, John Lewis, Jet2, Sainsbury’s, Argos, Tesco, + over 3,000 more retailers are on this site.
